32 posts, 4 strategic bases overrun in Tarinkot; equipment seized

URUZGAN, Sep. 07 – According to latest reports from capital Tarinkot, Mujahideen’s multi sided operation against enemy positions in the capital launched early yesterday morning is still underway with so far Paie Nawa, Garm Ab, lower Derwishan, Muradabad area have been purged.
According to details as many as 4 strategic enemy bases and 32 check posts have been overrun in the above mentioned areas, several puppets have been killed and wounded, many others have surrendered and the rest have fled their positions.
4 enemy APCs, 2 ranger pickups, 4 various kinds of vehicles, 5 motorbikes, 2 PKM machine guns, 15 assortments of weapons and other war equipment have been seized.
Mujahideen have further tighten the siege of provincial capital and all the routs have been blocked.
