LAGHMAN, Sep. 2 -Thirty one military prisoners who were lately captured by the Mujahideen in action were released by the special decree of Amir-ul-Momineen Sheikh Hibatullah Akhundzada on Tuesday on the occasion of the Independence Day.
Maulana Faisal police chief of Laghman told the media that the detainees included lieutenants, officers, commanders and high-ranking officials who were released by special order of the Amir al-Momineen.
Separately 4 officials of the former regime consisting of the governor, the director of security, the police chief and the head of the provincial council were also freed by the special order of the Amir Amir al-Momineen about a week ago.
