BAGHLAN, Aug. 12 – Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate in a 24-hour long operation seized 13 enemy combat posts in Dahana-e-Ghori district of northern Baghlan province, according to Al-Emarah News reports.

Mujahideen combatants launched operation aimed at the enemy installations on Wednesday which continued into Thursday, leading to killing over 6 puppets and leaving several more wounded.

Similarly, Mujahideen zeroed in on the district center and it was said to be under Mujahideen tight siege.

As many as 30 puppets including 3 commanders gave in to Mujahideen with their arms and ammo. A military vehicle filled with arms and ammunition was captured by Mujahideen.

Early Friday, Mujahideen yet again stormed the enemy installations in the aforesaid district, taking over 3 large base known as Bachak base, Baghal base and Dashtak base).

An unknown number of the enemy have reportedly been killed in the fighting.

A Mujahid fighter is said to have been martyred and one injured in the entire operation.
