HELMAND, Jun. 17 – At least 3 police were shot and instantly killed by a sniper in Nawi Karez area of Gerishk district last night. Later on further enemy troops arriving area for transferring the dead bodies came under a Mujahideen attack, destroying an APC by RPG fire, killing and wounding all gunmen inside. Furthermore, enemy is likely to have suffered serious casualties when 2 towers of a hireling military base were destroyed by heavy artillery fire in Mateki area of Nad Ali district overnight.
