HELMAND, Dec. 24 – In Sangin district of Helmand province, 13 fuel pumps have been closed by a competent joint delegation due to poor quality of fuel, irresponsible structure or lesser measure of liters.l, today.
The joint delegation is made up of the Helmand Appellate Prosecutor’s Office, Sangin District, as well as the Helmand Monopoly Authority, and the Helmand Oil Dealers’ Association, and is headed by Prof. Mawlawi Phanyar a representative of the Helmand Appellate Prosecutor’s Office, visited a number of pumps. As a result, 13 pumps were shut down due to unauthorized construction and nine more pumps were shut down due to poor quality of fuel and shortage of liters.
It is noteworthy that a campaign to reform the fuel pumps has been launched in Helmand for some time now. As a result, many fuel pumps in the capital and districts have been shut down, and the campaign will continue.
