3 posts overrun in Chamtal, 26 killed and wounded

BALKH, Jul. 07 – Reports from Chamtal district of  northern Balkh province say that heavy clashes broke out yesterday morning when hireling troops launched a large scale attack on Mujahideen positions in Imam Sahib, Patman Khelo, Camp Thani, Bargah and Tagabyano areas.

The enemy countered fierce Mujahideen resistance which resulted in an enemy route last night as a result, 3 strategic enemy check posts were overrun and 3 APCs completely destroyed along with 17 gunmen killed and 9 others wounded.

It is said that a Mujahid was also martyred (may Allah accept him) and 2 others injured in the clashes.
