GHAZNI, June 8 – Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate late Friday seized control of the 3 combat posts after they targeted the district building, police headquarters in Shalgar district of Ghazni province and engaged the reinforcements called in to back the enemy resisting Mujahideen offensive.

At least 27 joint enemy personnel were killed and 16 more were injured in today’s operation, while 6 of the enemy tanks were destroyed in the direct shooting and bomb attacks.

The administrative district building and police headquarters are reported to be under siege by Mujahideen who are positioned at the distance of 40 meters from the district center.

Three Mujahideen fighters are said to have been wounded in Friday’s operation.

The area came under heavy airstrikes by the enemy but Mujahideen suffered no losses by the graces of Allah Almighty.

Mujahideen Thursday thwarted the enemy attempts of break Mujahideen siege of the district center, causing the enemy heavy losses.
