3 killed as check post overrun in Faryab

FARYAB, Jan. 21 – According to latest reports from Dawlatabad district of Faryab province, Mujahideen assaulted a hireling check post in Chaman Qashlaq area of the said district afternoon hours yesterday.
Attacks of heavy and light arms lasted till 8:00 pm local time, resulting in the post was overrun and a large area came under the control of Mujahideen as well as killing 3 puppets.
A rifle, 1 motorbike, 8 RPG rounds, 2300 AK rounds, 14 grenades, 1 ammunition vest and cash amount of 17000 while a Mujahid was also wounded in the operation.
