3 killed, 4 hurt in eastern Afghanistan

NANGARHAR, Nov. 18 – Two policemen were killed when Mujahideen pounded the police base in Khogyani district of Nangarhar province with heavy weapons last night.

According to a report from neighboring Laghman province, heavy fighting broke out yesterday night after the enemy tried to break Mujahideen siege of the two remaining posts out of the four of which two had already been dismantled by Mujahideen.

At least 4 enemy soldiers were wounded and one killed in the resulting fighting, while an armored tank was destroyed after coming under rocket fire.
