The Ministry of Industry and Trade, in collaboration with the Wahaj Exhibition Company, inaugurated the first three-day international exhibition featuring national and foreign goods at Satara Sharq Hotel in Jalalabad, the capital of Nangarhar province. During the exhibition’s launch, Mawlawi Saeed Ahmad Banuri, the deputy of Nangarhar province, expressed his delight at the inaugural international exhibition of national and foreign goods in Jalalabad, marking a significant milestone. He reflected on the progress witnessed over the past three years, despite initial doubts about the Islamic Emirate’s capabilities in various aspects.

 

Banuri urged Afghan investors, both domestic and abroad, to invest in their homeland, emphasizing that such investments would not only enhance their capital but also create business opportunities for local communities. Furthermore, he called upon educational institutions to provide specialized training to Afghans, fostering skilled professionals in diverse fields.

 

The deputy governor highlighted the province’s commitment to addressing traders’ concerns, emphasizing continuous support for traders, industrialists, and investors. He encouraged a spirit of entrepreneurship among the populace, drawing inspiration from the courage of ancestors to foster national development.

 

Mawlawi Muhammad Qabil Abid, in charge of exhibition affairs at the Ministry of Industry and Trade, emphasized the promotion of national products and the growth of industry and trade nationwide. He expressed optimism about hosting more diverse exhibitions in the future, contributing to self-sufficiency goals.

 

Syed Abdul Basir Pacha, the head of industry and trade in Nangarhar, shared insights into the province’s industrial activities and the private sector’s contributions. He pledged comprehensive support and cooperation to industrialists and businessmen in furthering their endeavors.
