BAGHLAN, Aug. 22 – On Sunday Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate amid an offensive the enemy attempted to close in on Mujahideen trenches in Baghlan-i-Markazi district of Baghlan province from 3 directions, pushed the enemy advance back, leaving 3 commandos killed and 2 more wounded. An Arbaki commander was among those killed in the combat.
