3 arrested in Helamand on charges of killing Women

HELMAND, Jan. 11 – A woman was mysteriously killed by her mother, stepfather, and husband in Safiyan area of capital Lashkar Gah yesterday morning.

The mother and father of the slain woman have pleaded guilty, adding that the slain woman had recently fled the house.

According to the mother of the slain woman, her daughter-in-law had received a dowry of one lakh Pakistani rupees from her husband; her daughter was unmarried.
