PAKTIA, Jun. 16 – Hireling troops that tried to reopen the highway between Gardez highway cut-off by Mujahideen on Thursday were engaged around midday today in Ahmad Khel district’s Shawat area.
The fighting lasted till 06:00 pm local time, forcing the cowardly enemy to flee after 3 APCs were destroyed, 2 gunmen killed and 3 wounded as well as another gunman detained.
