29 killed as 3 check posts overrun in Kandahar

KANDAHAR, July. 21 – According to reports arriving from southern Kandahar province, Mujahideen attacked an enemy check post in Makyano area of Takhta Pul district last night.
Details say the post was overrun after killing 12 puppets.
Meanwhile Mujahideen also assaulted an enemy check post in Mail area resulting in the post was overrun, killing 4 puppets and seizing a sizable amount of war soils.
In another reports infiltrator Mujahideen opened fire on enemy troops inside a check post in Todonki Karez area of the said district midday today, killing 14 puppets and forcing the rest to flee while confiscating a ranger pickup, 1 motorbike, 16 rifles and other equipment.
It is said that 3 Mujahideen have been wounded and 2 others have embraced martyrdom during these operations.
