29 held on various charges across the country

KABUL, Aug. 01 – Police officers detained 29 suspects in connection with theft, smuggling, the selling of unlawful meat, extortion, moral corruption, and carrying illegal firearms.

A group of four professional thieves held in Uruzgan, five professional thieves and another in connection with moral corruption from the province of Nangarhar, one thief and two other people in connection with using drugs from Bamiyan, three armed men in Laghman, four in connection with moral corruption from Baghlan, and one in connection with the theft.

Another person was detained in connection with the smuggling of valuable stones out of Kunar province.

The anti-crime police also found two stolen cars in the provinces of Kabul and Khost, and returned to its rightful owners.
