The Directorate of Mines and Petroleum of Panjshir says that 2,746 carats of Panjshir emeralds were sold to traders in the country today for a total price of 80,000 dollars.

In the presence of Hafez Mohammad Agha Hakim, the governor of Panjshir, the supervisory committee of Panjshir mines, and several stone merchants, the 9th round of newly acquired emeralds from Panjshir mines was successfully auctioned by the Directorate of Mines and Petroleum.

 

Mawlawi Qasim Amiri, the head of Panjshir Mines and Petroleum, announced that this auction, organized by their department, featured Panjshir emerald gemstones. The box contained a total weight of 2,746 carats, which were sold to local traders for $80,000.

 

It is worth mentioning that recently, another batch of Panjshir emerald products, weighing a total of 2,118 carats, was sold to domestic merchants for a sum of $123,400.
