26 posts, 1 base overrun, 8 tanks seize, 3 destroyed in Kunduz operations

KUNDUZ, 20 – Al-Emarah News said Saturday the Islamic Emirate combatants moved forward into Khan Abad district after the Mujahideen takeover of Khanabad district center.

According to details, 14 enemy combat posts and a large military base have been dismantled, while Mujahideen seized from the enemy a good deal of arms and ammo.

Similarly, Mujahideen seized 10 enemy posts in the limits of the provincial capital of Kunduz province, leaving a large number of the Arbakis, police and soldiers of ANA dead and wounded.

Meanwhile, Mujahideen captured from the enemy 8 MB armored personnel carriers and various kind of arms and ammo in the provincial capital of Kunduz province.

Furthermore, Mujahideen succeeded in overrunning all the posts located along Kunduz-Takhar road, seizing from the enemy a sizeable amount of arms and ammo.

Separately, a tank was destroyed when it was shot by Mujahideen in Imam Sahib district of Kunduz province, causing the enemy heavy toll in the ensuing firefight.
