BAGHLAN, Jan. 28 – The Islamic Emirate’s Mujahideen seized control of an enemy military unit following a nighttime operation in Pol-e-Khomri district, northern Baghlan province last night.

At least 17 enemy soldiers were killed and 1 was taken captive.

Moreover, 5 puppets killed in northern Jowzjan province on Monday with 4 being killed in Balkh province bring the death toll 26 in the country’s north over the last 24 hours.

Mujahideen seized from the enemy possession 13 Kalashnikov machine guns, 1 PK heavy antitank machine gun, 1 pistol, 3 hand grenades, a good deal of ammunition and 1 military tank.
