26 held on various charges in multiple provinces

Over the past 24 hours, security forces have conducted operations in seven provinces, resulting in the arrest of 26 individuals involved in theft, gambling, and illegal relationships, said a statement of the ministry of interior.

In Faryab, six farmers were apprehended, while four individuals were arrested for engaging in illicit relations in Takhar. Additionally, seven individuals were detained in Samangan, three in Farah, two in Badghis, one in Kunduz, and one in Herat. Unfortunately, one individual lost their life during a clash with the security forces.

Simultaneously, the counter-terrorism police in Paktia discovered and confiscated a quantity of weapons and ammunition within the province.
