FARYAB, May. 25 – Officials say, a check post commander – Abas – along with 15 gunmen left arms before Mujahideen in Gurziwan Qashlaq area of Shireen Tagab district afternoon hours yesterday, handing over a ranger pickup, 1 Dshk gun, 1 PK machine gun, 2 RPG launcher, 1 sniper gun, 25 Kalashnikovs and other military tool to Mujahideen while receiving warm welcome by Mujahideen.
In another report, as many as 10 ALP gunmen have repented their mistakes and surrendered to Mujahideen in Ghalbyan and Hamran areas of Gurziwan district early on Thursday.
