25 check posts overrun as clashes under way in Sangin

HELMAND, Jan. 30 – Amid ongoing ‘Operation Omari’, Mujahideen launched coordinated attacks on Sangin district center early this morning.
According to details, the operation was started after a heroic Mujahid – Mula Abdul Quddos Muqaddas – detonated his explosive laden APC on a central ANA base and followed by major attacks of Mujahideen on bases of Gazo, Haji Lal Jan, Motorcycle Market and Sara Tameer areas, leveling these bases, killing and wounding more than 100 personnel as well confiscating a sizable amount of weapons.
The coward enemy is currently firing aimlessly and their aircrafts are circulating in the sky while the gunfight is moved towards the check posts in Bazar area, so far 20 large and small scale check posts have been overrun with 5 military centers have also been taken.
