25 arrested on sale, trafficking of drugs

KABUL, Aug. 11 – Amid several separate operations of the anti-narcotics police, seven suspects have been arrested in connection with various types of drugs in Balkh, two others arrested in Nangarhar with 535 drug pills, and two people were arrested in Herat and Baghlan in connection with the sale of drugs in Kandahar.

Three other suspect were arrested with 1460 kilos Vamano and two Datsun cars and two people were arrested at the international airport in Kabul, who wanted to send drugs abroad.

In addition, the said police confiscated and burned nine drug factories in Uruzgan and a large number of marijuana plants in Bamyan province.

Meanwhile, the police has arrested 250 kg of grinded marijuana, which was placed in two vans and was being transported to Kandahar province, and 9 owners and workers of factories were arrested.
