The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development has successfully wrapped up 244 development initiatives in Laghman province’s Alishing and Badpash districts, totaling around 278 million Afghanis. These projects were unveiled in a formal ceremony graced by Acting Minister Alhaj Mullah Mohammad Younus Akhundzada and his accompanying team.

The inauguration event witnessed the presence of key dignitaries including the Acting Minister of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, Alhaj Mullah Mohammad Younus Akhundzada, his entourage, Laghman province’s Deputy Governor Mullah Akhtar Mohammad, Corps Commander Qari Enzargul, Alishing’s District Governor Mullah Noorulhadi, alongside various local officials, religious leaders, elders, and youth from the specified regions.

During his address, the Acting Minister underscored the pivotal role of development projects in enhancing the quality of life in rural areas. He affirmed the Ministry’s steadfast dedication to executing such endeavors to furnish enhanced amenities to rural inhabitants and tackle their issues promptly.

The array of projects encompassed the construction and enhancement of rural thoroughfares, culverts, protective barriers, and irrigation channels. Noteworthy is the substantial employment opportunities extended to hundreds of laborers during the project implementation phase. Upon their completion, these undertakings have effectively mitigated numerous challenges encountered by residents in the aforementioned districts.
