23 killed as 4 combat posts dismantled in eastern Afghanistan

 KUNAR, May 17 – The Islamic Emirate launched a full-scale operation in eastern Kunar province, targeting a large number of the enemy military units, bases as well as government facilities in the provincial capital of Kunar province and other district the led to the death of as many as 22 puppets and a large number of them suffered wounds.

Off the posts, came under attacks in different district four were dismantled.

Similarly, Mujahideen  seized 3 US-made PK machine guns, 1 Russian PKM, 1 M16 rifle, 1 Kalashnikov rifle, 30 rocket rounds with various kinds of ammo and military equipment.

3 Mujahideen embraced martyrdom and 5 more were wounded in the entire operation.

Separately, a puppet was killed and another one was wounded in a bomb attack in Dankam district of the province.

According to reports from the neighboring province of Nooristan, an army base and its checkpoints came under Mujahideen attacks in which a large number of the enemy suffered casualties, whereas Mujahideen attacked 3 of the enemy posts in Want Waygal district of the province.
