23 killed, 4 hurt in Mujahideen attacks

NANGARHAR,  May 22 – At least 12 enemy military personnel including 8 commandos were killed in Mujahideen attacks in Hisarak district of eastren Nangarhar province.

A roadside bomb blast ripped into the enemy vehicle in Pachir Wa Agam district of Nangarhar province in which 2 enemy personnel were killed and 3 more were wounded.

In the province’s Achin district, an Arbaki was shot dead and another one was wounded in sniper attacks.

In another report from Nangarhar province, a roadside bomb blast ripped into the enemy tank in Jalalabad city, the capital of Nangarhar province, killing all those aboard the vehicle, while 3 Arbakis were killed and 1 was taken captive when Mujahideen seized an enemy post in Khogyani district of Nangarhar province.


Two Kalashnikov 1 PK heavy machine gun, 1 hand grenade were seized from the enemy.

Separately, 4 commandos sustained injuries and 1 post was overrun elsewhere in Shirzad district of the province.


Similarly, 2 military vehicles and 1 tank were also destroyed in the attacks.
