22 puppets killed as reinforcement troops escape Sangin

HLEMAND, Feb. 04 – According to latest reports, enemy reinforcement troops of ANA and commando that arrived on Thursday night by aircraft to Kandahar terminal area of Sangin district for breaking the siege of district administration center and PRT came under heavy and targeted attacks of Mujahideen overnight.
According to details the enemy was forced to flee by helicopters after suffering serious casualties while leaving behind 12 ANA and 10 commandos cadavers on the battles ground.
It is said that the PRT is still under the tight besiege of Mujahideen. It must be mentioned that 2 armored tanks, 2 APCs, 3 kamaz trucks were destroyed and 20 mercenaries were killed in a gunfight in the said area a day earlier.
