KUNDUZ, Jan. 16 – Mujahideen fighters raided a military post in the limits of Kunduz city, the capital of northern Kunduz province late yesterday night, sparking off a violent fighting that led to killing as many as 20 enemy military personnel, our reporter said.

A main battle tank and a military vehicle were destroyed in the fighting, while Mujahdieen seized from the enemy 1 mortar cannon, 1 sniper rifle, 4 Kalashnikov machine guns, 1 RPG rocket, 3 M16 rifles and various kinds of ammunition.

In a report from northern Balkh province, an Arbaki was killed and a Kalashnikov rifle was seized from him in a surprise attack in Khas Balkh district of Balkh province on Monday.
