WARDAK, Aug. 21 – Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate ambushed the enemy convoy in Syed Abad district of Wardak province, engaging the enemy in a 3-hour long gunfight in which 11 puppets were killed and 6 others were wounded.

At least 13 supply trucks and vehicles were destroyed in the clashes.

Later, a roadside bomb blast ripped into an enemy vehicle in the mentioned district, killing four puppets and leaving one injured.

In another report, a puppet was killed and another wounded in a gun battle caused by Mujahideen ambush elsewhere in the said district last night.

In the province’s Jalga district, a puppet was killed and one hurt in a clash with Mujahideen last night.

In a similar attack, Mujahideen killed a puppet and left another one wounded in a surprise attack on the post belonging to Arbakis in the provincial capital of Wardak province on Saturday.

Furthermore, a number of the enemy posts and the building of the district of Chaghto came under Mujahideen attacks last night, causing the enemy heavy losses.

On Sunday, 2 puppets were killed and one wounded in bomb and direct shooting attack in Nirkh district of this province.
