HERAT, Aug. 03 – Reports from Shindand district state that a gunfight that erupted in Daman area of the said district early Tuesday was ended this morning by causing serious casualties to hireling. The gunfight was raged after enemy troops arriving the scene by helicopters, during which 4 enemy military bases have been overrun, killing 17 Arbakis including a hireling commander Haimat and 4 commandos. As many as 5 gunmen were arrested during the operation and their case has been forwarded to Islamic Emirate’s Shairah court. 3 RPG launchers, 1 PKM, 6 rifles and a sizable amount of war equipment is said to has been seized in the operation. The enemy has heavily bombarded the area during which 12 Mujahideen were wounded and 7 others embraced martyrdom (Surely we belong to Allah and to Him is the return).
