NORISTAN, Sep. 14 – Nooristan Natural Disasters Directorate provided cash assistance to 14 families of victims of recent floods in Kamdish, Wama districts and the center of that province. BALKH, Sep. 14 – A new multi story building for the Central Bank (Da Afghanistan Bank) in the northern zone has been constructed, at a cost of more than 37 million Afghans, in Mazar-i-Sharif of Balkh province. High ranking Officials of the Bank and provincial members inaugurated today the building.
PARWAN, Sep. 14 – Cash, food, and shelter assistance was distributed to 462 poor and flood-affected families in Parwan province. According to local officials, cash assistance of 12,300 AFN were distributed to 204 poor families, and food and shelter materials were distributed to 258 families affected by the floods in the province.
PAKTIA, Sep. 14 – As many as 1550 destitute and needy families received food aid in Paktia province. Details say assistance has been distributed to 1,550 families in Mirzake and Patan districts of Paktia province with each family received 50 kg of flour, 5 liters of oil, salt and 25 kg of lentils.
