In the presence of notable officials, including Sheikh Al-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum, Honorable Maulvi Najibullah Haqqani, Acting Minister of Communications and Information Technology, and Sheikh Zia-ul-Rahman Al-Aryoubi, Deputy Minister of Planning and Policy, a transparent bidding process took place in the conference hall of the Ministry. The bidding event occurred in Gandhakotal, Yakawaling District, Bamiyan Province, and saw the participation of 20,000 individuals, companies, volunteers, and the media.
During the event, the Acting Ministry of Mines and Petroleum highlighted the investment opportunities in the country’s mineral resources sector and emphasized the creation of numerous job opportunities through the implementation of various projects.
Among the 31 participating companies, Wakeli Ltd. submitted the highest bid of 390 US dollars per person. As a result, the 20,000-ton Zink of Ganda Kotal, located in Yakawlang District, Bamyan Province, was valued at $7.8 million.
