In a significant development, the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum has successfully completed the sale of 20,000 tons of crude oil sourced from the Angut region within the Amu Darya oil basin, as said by Hamyun Afghan the spokeman of the ministry.

The total value of this transaction exceeded $10,549,000 and was conducted through an open bidding process.

 

A total of 10 companies participated in the tender, showcasing their interest in acquiring the crude oil.

Following a competitive bidding process, Qaiser Baba Ltd. emerged as the winner by submitting the highest price, securing the rights to the 20,000 tons of crude oil from the Amu reiver oil field.
