FARAH, Oct. 28 – Haji Mullah Mohammad Yusuf, Director of Refugee Affairs, Farah Province distributed $265 in cash assistance to 200 needy and war-affected families in Farah on Wednesday.

While distributing the aid the director said “Our assistance today is for the most needy families, who are really in need, even to the point of poverty and extreme hunger, adding that we have some short and long term plans in the future for this afflicted nation, as well as for other similar assistance, which we will soon witness to be distributed to the deserving people.

The members of the needy and the war-torn families were also very happy with aid. Malik, who was crippled in both legs said “I am very happy with this donation and the distribution of this donation, because I am a disabled person and I received $265 in cash today, which is a huge contribution to my and my family’s problems.” he also thanked the officials of the Islamic Emirate and asked for more assistance.

It is worth mentioning that a few days ago, as in today’s case, cash assistance was provided to 6 needy families in the province.
