PAKTIA, May 16 – Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate chased the militia away from a huge territory  in the limits of Gardiz city, the provincial capital of Paktia province on Sunday, dismantling a post belonging to militia.

At least 6 Arbakis including an infamous Arbaki commander Samood were killed in the four-hour long gunfight and the enemy was flush from a large village.

Mujahideen seized from the enemy 3 Kalashnikov rifles, 3 PKM (heavy antitank vehicle-mounted machine guns), 3 rocket  propelled-grenades, 3 long-range cannons, 2 pairs of binoculars, 1 laser gun, 2 motorbike and a good deal of ammunition, according to Al-Emarah News reports.

It is worth saying that the possessions, motorbikes and vehicles seized or looted by Arbaki commander Samood and his gunmen were returned to their rightful owners.

Al-Emarah separately said at least 8 including the chief of staff, investigation officer and logistics officer were killed and one was injured in a roadside bomb blast targeting the vehicle carrying them on Zazi Aryub district of Paktia province on Sunday.

Early Monday, Mujahideen killed 5 puppets and left 8 others wounded in a violent fighting resulting from Mujahideen ambush on the enemy in Patan district of Paktia province. A Mujahid fighter is said to have been wounded in the fighting.
