20 including police chief killed as Bakwa police DHQ overrun

FARAH, Nov. 18 – According to a latest report from Farah province, a heavy gunfight erupted after 6 infiltrator Mujahideen assaulted stooge regime new police head quarter of Bakwa district situated in Khairabad area along Herat-Kandahar highway overnight.
Attacks of heavy and light weapons lasted for about one and half hour, overrunning the head quarter after killing 20 puppets, including police chief – commander Gul Ahmad Khan – intelligence director – Jailani Khan – and 2 other officers.
According to details, a PKM machine gun, 1 RPG, 1 Dshk, 27 AK rifles and a vehicle was confiscated while Mujahideen suffered no casualties.
This comes when another infiltrator Mujahid has killed as many as 5 gunmen and overrun a check post in Pushtkoh district of the province last night.
A ranger pickup and other equipment were also seized.
