KABUL, Jan. 15 – The Women and Children Hospital, named Mustashfa Umar comprising 20 beds, has been officially opened in the 100-bed hospital of the 209 Al-Fath Corps, says ministry of defence.

Dr. Muhammad Tahir “Ahrar,” the medical commander of the General Staff, presided over a special ceremony to mark this occasion.

 

This newly established hospital, constructed within the premises of the 209 Al-Fath Corps is aimed to provide essential healthcare services in the country.

The facility is equipped with laboratories, Ultrasound, a pharmacy, as well as dedicated departments for admissions and pediatric care. It will cater to the health needs of the personnel of the National Islamic Army and their family members.
