FARYAB, Oct. 20 – Reports say, a gunfight that prompted after Mujahideen assaulted a hireling convoy arriving from Mazar Shairf to Faryab province in Qara Sheikhi area of Juma Bazar district afternoon hour yesterday, is said to have inflected serious causalities to enemy. According to details, firefight went till late evening hours, during which 2 enemy tanks were completely destroyed and heavy casualties caused. Similarly, a hireling tank, 2 reinforcement vehicles and other military equipment was seized. It is said that 2 Mujahideen have embraced martyrdom while another injured (May Allah accept them).
