FARAH, Apr. 28 – Officials say, a gunfight prompted after Mujahideen blocked off highway for enemy in Shamalgah area of Farah city early today, continued till evening hours, during which 2 tanks were destroyed by heavy artillery fire, killing and wounding several gunmen inside. According to details, 1 RPG launcher with 7 rounds, 500 rounds of Dshk and other military equipment were seized in the operation. 3 Mujahideen are said to have been wounded.
