2 tanks destroyed as clashes ongoing in Farayb

FARYAB, Dec. 23 – Officials say, heavy clashes are ongoing against ANA, ANP and Arbakis troops since they arrived Tapa Qashlaq and Dasht Buz areas of Juma Bazar district some eight days ago.

According to details, enemy is aiming to establish check posts on main highway on Faryab Shabarghan highway.

Till now enemy has made no gains despite losing 2 tanks and taking heavy fatalities.

Unhappily, enemy as routine targets civilian compounds, leaving an eight year-old girl martyred and 2 women wounded.
