KANDAHAR, Jan. 18 – Mujahideen attacked enemy troops arriving Sara Baghal area of Maiwand district for an operation overnight, during which a hireling APC was destroyed by heavy artillery firing and another one by a landmine, leaving several gunmen killed or hurt. Meanwhile, 2 mercenaries were shot and killed on the spot by sniper however enemy has taken shelter in civilian compounds and firing pointlessly.
