URUZGAN, Aug. 16 – At around 8:00 am local time today, a police was killed in a Mujahideen ambush in Manar area of capital Tarinkot.
Meanwhile, another ANP gunman was killed in bomb blast in Gharo area of Chora district.
Furthermore, a policeman – Luqman s/o Abdul Hakim – has surrendered to Mujahideen by repenting his mistakes in Ghari area of the said district.
Similarly, another police – Sharaf ul din s/o Nizam ul din – has repented his mistakes and left enemy ranks in Sultan Muhammad Nawi area of Khas Uruzgan district.
Officials say, Mujahideen have handed over corpses on 10 enemy personnel to the Red cross in the capital Tarinkot earlier today.
