2 killed, ranger destroyed in Nawa operations

HELMAND, May. 23 – At around 5:00 pm local time yesterday, a ranger pickup belonging to ANP was destroyed amid a Mujahideen ambush in Khasar Abad area of Nawa district, killing and wounding all gunmen abroad.

A Mujahid was wounded and another martyred during the operation.

Moreover, a hireling patrol came under a Mujahideen attack in Sar Khadoz area afternoon hours yesterday, leaving 2 puppets killed on the spot and forcing the rest to escape.
