2 killed, equipment seized as post overrun in Faryab

FARYAB, May. 18 – Amid ongoing ‘Al Khandaq Operations’, Mujahideen stormed an enemy check post in Gorzad area of Shireen Tagab district last night, overrunning the post after an intense gunfight of heavy and light arms that lasted for more than 3 hours, killing 2 minions and forcing the rest to flee leaving a mortar tube, 2 PKM machine guns, 2 M16 rifles, 1 communication radio and other military equipment behind on the battle ground.
