NURISTAN, Jul. 07 – A key police check post in Sang Pul area of Nurgaram district was attacked by Mujahideen day break today, sparking a two hour clash which resulted in the post overrun, 2 gunmen including commander Abdul Qadeer killed, 4 detained in injured condition and the rest forced to flee.
Officials say that 5 Ak rifles, 2 RPG launchers, a PKM, grenade launcher and sizable amount of other equipment was seized while all praise belong to Allah alone, no Mujahideen were harmed in the operation.
