2 killed, APC destroyed in Kandahar

KANDHAR, Aug. 23 – According to reports enemy troops escorted by many APCs arriving Moliyano area of Maruf district came under a Mujahideen attack in early this morning, during which 2 gunmen have been killed, 2 motorbikes seized and others fled their positions.
Meanwhile a police APC was shred into pieces by a landmine attack in Kalanchiki area of Maiwand district early today, killing and wounding all gunmen on the spot.
