2 killed, 4 hurt in Laghman province 

LAGHMAN, Sep. 7 – Early Wednesday Mujahideen opened fire on the enemy convoy along Kabul-Jalalabad highway in the limits of Qarghayi district of Laghman province, forcing it into a halt and triggering a one-hour long firefight that led to the deaths of 2 enemy soldiers, while a further four suffered wounds, a report said.

It added a main battle tank and a military vehicle were destroyed after coming under heavy arms fire by Mujahideen.

Shortly afterwards, the area came under airstrikes by the enemy but no one sustained any casualties in the bombardment.
