2 key check posts overrun in Lashkargah, 6 killed

HELMAND, Sep. 06 – According to a latest report, amid ongoing ‘Operation Omari’, Mujahideen carried out coordinated assaults on 2 enemy compounds turned check posts in PD 2 of capital Lashkargah overnight.
Both check posts were overrun after a brief resistance, killing 6 puppets inside and forcing the rests to flee leaving behind corpses on the battle ground.
A ranger pickup, 2 heavy machine guns, 1 mortar tube, 3 rifles and other various war equipment was recovered.
Mujahideen suffered no casualties in the operation.
