2 houses, 1 Masjid, 1 Madrasa destroyed; 2 shops set ablaze

WARDAK, Apr. 30 – Two houses belonging to the defenseless civilians were destroyed when the enemy pounded with heavy weapons the residential area in Syed Abad district of Wardak province. There is, however, no information on the casualty inflicted on the civilians.

Elsewhere in the said district, the enemy set fire to a tailor shop and a restaurant.

Furthermore, the enemy in the wake of the attacks on Islamic centers and public utilities targeted a Minhaj-ul-Uloom, a Madrasa and 1 Masjid (mosque) in Khas Balkh district of northern Balkh province yesterday.

The Mosque and Madrasa (institute of Islamic education) were both flattened.
