HELMAND, Aug. 21 – According to a report from southern Helmand province, midday today Mujahideen assaulted 2 military bases of ANA and 2 compound-turned check posts located in Darab Charrahi area of Marjah district. Attacks of heavy and light arms lasted till afternoon hours, resulting in both bases and check post completely overrun, forcing the enemy to flee after taking serious casualties. A large number of ammo and other war equipment have been seized in the operation and a huge area fallen to Mujahideen.
