GHAZNI, Aug. 2 – Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate seized two of the enemy posts after hours of fighting in Qarabagh district of southern Ghazni province on Tuesday, according to Al-Emarah News reports.

At least 17 puppets were killed and 11 more suffered injuries with 4 armored tanks destroyed in the resulting firefight, while Mujahideen captured from the enemy 2 Kalashnikov rifles and ammo.

Two Mujahideen fighters are said to have embraced martyrdom with 5 others wounded in yesterday’s operation.

According to a fresh report from Ghazni province, Manzoor Hussain, the district governor and his guard were killed and a commander was wounded in a targeted attack by Mujahideen in Chaghto district of Ghazni province on Wednesday.

Later, the reinforcements called in faced Mujahideen strong resistance in which the enemy suffered further losses of life and injury.
